I stayed here with my husband and son for 1 night. This is an old hotel with traditional fittings and lots of old world charm. Our room was very cosy and comfortable with plenty room for the 3 of us and internet reception was excellent. When we arrived we got a lovely warm and friendly welcome from Sharon and throughout our stay she was extremely helpful in going out of her way to sort out a couple of little problems we had. The restaurant was one of the highlights of our stay. The food was really delicious and beautifully presented and the service was friendly unobtrusive and efficient. I was surprised at the high quality of the meals as the average rating for this hotel is 3 star and I wasn't expecting such good quality. We had salmon with noodles,Hunters Chicken, Bruschetta and Garlic mushrooms and home made desserts. All were absolutely delicious. If I had one tiny criticism it would be that the shower pressure was a little weak but this did not detract from our stay. I will definitely not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks of course to the hard working, kind and considerate staff.

Myself and my husband stayed here for five days. We had an excellent stay. We had a mountain view room which was lovely and had been refurbished. The food was lovely and big portions, i highly recommend the chocolate brownie. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel works well with the covid restrictions with a one way system in place and plenty of hand sanitiser available. This hotel is in a quiet location but a great base to visit the surrounding areas. I recommend rogie falls, just an 8 minute drive from the hotel. Overall great stay and would stay again. Thank you to all the staff.

We stayed here for 1 night, arriving late so went straight to room and to bed, in the morning I went to the bathroom and was disgusted at what I saw. The toilet seat was wooden and had splintered and warped , I can't begin to think how many germs were on that seat, I felt physically sick when I saw it.The walls were damp and mildew and the pipes were also black with mildew. Hygiene should be top of any hotels list at any time but especially during the pandemic, there is no excuse for this, if the bathroom was cleaned properly and to a high standard then this should never have been passed, it obviously has been there for many months,

Spent two nights in this lovely hotel. Our room was nicely decorated, comfortable, spotlessly clean and the view from the window was amazing. The bathroom had a waterfall shower and again was pristine and also looked freshly decorated. We had breakfast and an evening meal both days and the food was well presented and tasty. The staff are all huge assets to the hotel, they were all hard working, nothing was too much trouble and all went out of their way to ensure that we and our two dogs had a lovely stay in such difficult times. We can’t wait to visit again.
