We stayed 2 nights with Alisdair, Seonag & James and were made so welcome we felt part of the family. Fantastic location with stunning views across to Raasay & Skye, great breakfast with plenty of choice for all, including fresh fruit & comfortable bed & ensuite with great shower, tv in room & wi if. Thanks for the lift to...

We arrived at Alisdair and Seonag's B+B in sideways rain after a scoot over the pass in heavy fog. We could not have felt more at home, from the outset, anywhere. They also run Applecross post office, the village shop and have a family croft where the B and B is. We found the whole family very welcoming, we had...

We arrived the afternoon of April 25 without a reservation and were welcomed with tea and cookies. It was blizzard conditions coming through Bealach na BA viewpoint an hour earlier, so we had pulled over and took in the most unusual weather for this time of year. When we arrived at Carn Raineach the sun was shining and the views...

We stayed for 1 night and could not have been made more welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious with amazing views over Raasay, Sky and Rona. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We would definitely recommend this lovely B&B.

We had a small but very clean room and bathroom. Our breakfast was tasty, especially the tomatoes and mushrooms! We loved looking at the Isle of Tasso and the black Chilli so during breakfast. The hostess was very nice and her husband kindly carried or large suitcase for us. Thanks!

The B&B is a house that is also a shop and the local post office. First impressions were that there was a lot of stuff lying around outside and a bit messy looking. Got a warm welcome and was shown to our room. Room was basic but had everything we needed. Bathroom was very very small, with an excellent shower....

We came across Applecross almost by chance, our host in Pitlochry had recommended it for our second night in the Highlands. We found Carn-Raineach through the www.applecross.info website. The journey is long and winding but well worth it. Carn-Raineach is run by a crofter and hos wife who also run the village store and post office. It's very comfortable and...

My sister and I had a great 2 night stay with Alistair, Seonag and James. The room was spotless with a stunning view of Raasay and Skye. We were made very welcome. It is good to stay with locals to get a real feel for a community. Plenty of local knowledge, maps and information. It is an easy walk in...

We've just returned from Applecross after a fantastic 3 night stay at this lovely B&B. Alistair and Seonag couldn't have been more accommodating. Seonag made us tea when we arrived and Alistair drove us into the Potting Shed for dinner and even arranged with the manager to call when we needed a lift back! James, their young son, was equally...

A group of 5 lads, we headed to Applecross for a cycling weekend and stayed at this lovely B&B. The rooms are well appointed with fantastic facilities. The cooked breakfast was awesome served I front of stunning views across to Skye. The B&B is only a mile or so walk from the lovely village of Applecross. Very friendly and accommodating...
