We spent a couple of days at this very good campsite in May. They were full but Lynn fitted us in to a very nice spot with an electric hook up and water. The site is well maintained but the ablutions are a bit on the small side. There is free wi-fi but only within yards of the reception. On...

I hired a static caravan for a couple of days a first for me. I was impressed very clean and comfortable a good base for exploring the area. Friendly staff always a plus. Beware suicidal cyclists on the Bealach!

Reached Applecross campsite after pedalling up Bealach na Ba, tired and hungry. The staff were super friendly and advised where to pitch for the best views. Lovely quiet site. There was a visit from the local deer in the morning too!

Second time at Applecross but it has been about 10 years between. Lovely to be back. Plenty pitches but we had booked in advance. Showers and toilets clean. Nice meal in pub in the village only a few minutes walk.

After driving the wonderfully mountain pass to applecross we settled down at the campsite which thankfully had one wigwam left. The receptionist was a very friendly gentleman who told us unfortunately their restaurant was not in use anymore but the pub down the road was a short walk. We set up in our wigwam which had 4 matresses which were...

Next up on my tour of Campsites is Applecross.... I have heard very mixed reviews from my customers, but most were unfounded. During september there were no midgies, and it was quite quiet. Yes the facilities are a bit basic and there isnt much to do but in this part of the world that is what most people want..... Only...

We spent two nights here in August. We were supposed to be camping but the weather wasn't very kind to us. However Alison managed to secure us a lovely Hobbit Hut for our two nights instead. This was clean and dry and very cosy. The showers and toilets were spotless and so too the wash up area. The setting is...

Having booked then read recent reviews I was worried about staying at the campsite, however there was no need. Staying in our campervan we had the amenities needed, however did use the showers. While dated they were clean and plenty of hot water. No issue with easy access to electric hook up and water tap. Sadly nowhere to eat on...
