Fantastic rooms, fantastic food, fantastic people, fantastic everything!! it was our first trip to the highlands and we decided to stay on the whitebridge for 5 days. The rooms were really clean and particularly our room was facing the mountains so breathtaking views! They were really up to date with all the covid 19 protocols and made sure we were as safe as possible whilst also allowing us to properly enjoy our stay! The hotel is very quirky and pretty as well as very cosy especially now in winter! The rooms are spacious and they had a guest room full of games, dvds, books and a lovely fireplace to warm up on cold evenings. We had breakfast there every day and it eas really good! due to the current covid 19 situation they give you a sheet in which you can choose all you’d like to eat for breakfast instead of a having a continental buffet but it was delicious and very good portions. Since it gets dark quite early specially in winter we ended up having dinner at the hotel on a daily basis and I must say everything we tried was really good (the haggis bonbons and the venison and jalapeno burger are a must!). It is also very well located and it allows you to explore a lot of landmarks/relevant areas. it is only 15 mins from fort augustus, 50 mins aprox from urquhart castle and approx 1h from inverness. there are also really beautiful places to explore around the area such as the falls of foyers. The staff were great, really attentive and kind, I think the person we chatted with a little bit more was Robert who is lovely, and indeed very kind (thanks so much for everything Robert!) but in general everyone was extremely kind! To sum up, it has been an absolute pleasure to stay here and be able to enjoy whatever is left of this crazy 2020, thanks to everyone at the whitebridge and I really hope we can come back soon!!…

Staying in Fort Augustus for a wee pre Christmas break but very limited food possibilities. Delighted to find this hotel provides food all day in a very covid safe environment. Excellent menu with a Scottish theme and the quality of food was outstanding. Would have no reservations in recommending the Whitebridge Hotel.

Warm and friendly welcome. A thorough COVID protection plan. They have thought of everything, and carried them out. Food, delicious home cooked meals. Hand pulled beer. Room lovely and cosy. Even the dogs got spoilt. Their own beds and water bowls in the bar and an endless supply of treats. Would recommend a visit.

Very cosy, very safe, great food and very friendly staff. Owners were on hand checking everything was alright. The atmosphere in the bar was really good. Lots of friendly locals popping in for drinks or carry out meals. Back ground music superb!
