this may be an out of the blue and rare thing for them, but we had a member of staff be very rude and condescending to us concerning some allergies. We were told they could accommodate, which we were very grateful for and didn't expect, but then later said that it wasn't their problem we had allergies. We (friends and...

This review comes as a huge shock to our highly professional, friendly, and welcoming team, who pride themselves on the great standard of service they provide, and often go above an beyond the call of duty to ensure that special requests are catered for and guests have a great stay. A review that says otherwise is taken very seriously and...

Great choice after visiting Loch Ness, clean rooms (we booked an ensuite double room), great facilities, close to the town center of Fort Augustus. The only negative point was breakfast: limited choice and at 8,15 most of the food has already been finished and not replaced.

We are glad to hear you had a great stay with us. We are sorry that breakfast service did not meet your expectations. Our busiest time for breakfast is 8am so if there is a peak "rush" there may be a short delay in certain hot items being replaced as we prepare more. We are sorry that you experienced this...

Had one night stay in August. Parking is good. Nice garden. WiFi in living room by the reception only. No WiFi in rooms. Beds a bit short for my partner (he is almost 1.90 m). No mobile networks in the room and sometimes outside. Booked private room but was given different room from the picture. Expected a normal bed but...

Thank-you for your review. Our private bathrooms are popular, particularly the fantastic showers! We provide hand-towels, hand-soap, and bath mats free of charge; bath towels and other toiletries are available for a small additional cost. This is to minimise unnecessary laundry costs as part of our commitment to the environment and sustainability. Our breakfast is buffet style option where you...

Stayed here while on a guided tour for 2 nights, fantastic modern rooms with great bathroom facilities. Clean self catering kitchen and lovely atmosphere in the dining room and bar, would definitely stay again.

Great live music!! There's a bar in the hostel that has live music and they have their own local beer. 5-10 minute walk to the little town and the Loch Ness boat cruise. Breakfast, all you can eat, for about £4 including boiled eggs! Which was a pleasant change after a week of cereal and toast.

Thank-you for your review. We are glad you got to enjoy our very own beer brewed exclusively for us by Loch Ness Brewery. We are also glad you enjoyed the boiled eggs!

We stopped here for two nights in our 3 day Haggis Adventure tour. It's a great little hostel with good facilities. We enjoyed the pub quiz and the haggis stuffed chicken on our first night was extremely delicious (particularly the whiskey cream sauce). We took the river cruise on Loch Ness and were in awe of the size of the...

I stayed at Morag's lodge for 2 nights during my Haggis Adventures tour, it was really great! The pub is small but fun, the staff is great, and the rooms are clean. It was great to have a bathroom in our room, not down the hall like most hostels. I ordered dinner one of the nights, it was tasty and...

Arrived one rainy Sunday. Nobody home but the keys had been left in the porch (we had pre-booked) so we were able to change, shower and make a drink. Diodn't see the host till next morning but the place was clean and well-appointed.

Good facilities. Good showers. Absolutely fine if you're a student hut otherwise just annoying. All most people want is a cheap bed for the night after a long day, not a load of "entertainment" and "banter". I got up at 4 am and slept in the reception due to some snoring idiot. I was glad to leave and cycled on...

We are sorry that your stay with us did not meet your expecations.
