Stayed here for 2 nights whilst touring Scotland and what a find! For the price what you get is brilliant! We were welcomed by Johnny (If I remember correctly) who was brilliant - he was there the whole time of our stay and couldn't be more helpful. We had a room at the back (but if you can get a room at the front with Loch View - I would suggest this) - our room was lovely and spacious, couldn't fault it at all! Breakfast the next morning was AMAZING! All freshly cooked (You do have to pay for it but worth it for 1 morning!) They have a little bar area with a good selection of drinks and nice to relax here after a long day! Apparently dinner here is really good - just we had pre-booked other places before arriving - so will definitely try next time. Will definitely come back if staying in the area!…
Stayed for 4 nights in October. COVID-19 measures in place. Johnny was brilliant at looking after us. We had 3 evening meals and the food was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Loved the views and roaring fire in the lounge
After visiting in 2019 we decided to come back this year as our experience was great the last time we stayed. Our trip did not disappoint this year either and the COVID measures were excellent. We also decided to upgrade our room to the ness room which I would recommend to anyone as it was definitely worth the price, we sadly did not get a chance to try the food as we had reservations else where but will definitely be trying it in the future. Staff were also very friendly checking in and out would highly recommend.
We stayed one night in a large and comfortable room with view of Loch. Bed comfortable and good shower. As others have said, the team was friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Johnny, the manager, was professional and friendly and offered a personal approach, while seeming to do all sorts of other jobs in the hotel, in a calm way. The food was superb and the best dinner and breakfast we can remember. Delicious and thanks to the chef and kitchen team.
Stayed while on a cycling trip.A lovely Highland lodge with interesting period features in a stunning location. The staff were excellent and totally professional and the evening meal was first class.Unfortunately our room was dim and pokey and very small and the view of the fire escape from our window not the best we have ever had anywhere. We also found the breakfast overpriced at £15 a head so we ate in Fort Augustus instead.
