We have nothing but compliments for Christopher, Joanne and their delightful daughter. All pleasant people and very helpful. Such a wonderful and truly hospitable place to stay. Terrific establishment; clean, comfortable and well priced. We booked for the dinner option and the food was tasty, plentiful and lovingly prepared. As was breakfast. Great sitting room and dining room. We have...

Stayed for two night D B &B on the basis of the reviews and we were not disappointed. Traditional Scottish hotel with a warm welcome - with a pot of tea and biscuits - from the owners and spotlessly clean accommodation. Dinner is selected from a choice of three starters, mains and puds by 6 pm. The wine list is...

We stayed a couple of nights at the hotel. Arriving after a long journey it was lovely to be welcomed with a pot of tea and biscuits. Our room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Dinner is served by arrangement and it's well worth doing that as it is freshly cooked and delicious with good quality ingredients. Breakfast is...

I stayed at the Caledonian hotel 4 years ago and came back this April, and I can't wait to go back!! It's a great little place, perfectly located, and it serves the best dinner and pints in the village. Rooms are cleaned and atmosphere is very friendly. A whiskey at the bar is a must!

Lovely hotel, warm welcome when we arrived with a pot of tea. We were booked in for dinner so made our choices whilst enjoying our cuppa. After a wander down to the canal with fab views over Loch Ness we headed back for a wonderful dinner followed by coffee in the lounge, scrabble available to play too. Rooms are spotless...

A very pleasant family run hotel The owners and staff could not have been more helpful. There is a small bar which is well frequented with locals and residents. The breakfast was good and there is a large car park.

You receive a warm welcome on arrival at the Caledonian, plenty of parking around a nice old building. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, breakfast was very tasty and staff were spot on. Worth a stay!

Most of the main tourist spots in Fort Augustus are down by the loch or the canal but if you like good beer it's worth walking up the hill to the hotel bar here which is open to non residents and served by very friendly staff in a newly refurbished bar.
