My first experience of a guesthouse. Very clean and comfortable. Close to pub. Excellent wifi but no mobile reception although that didn't bother me. Breakfast was ok, not large portions, no fruit. My room had a skylight which was great for star gazing and we were lucky there was a full moon when we stayed and very little cloud! Bathroom...

We liked our spacious room (Skye) which was on the top floor with nice view. The area was quiet and ideal for walks - there is a local pub few minutes walk as well as a castle (35min), Loch Ness Lake (25min) and a waterfall (40 min). Both Rory & Lisa (hosts) were friendly and welcoming. large & comfortable bed...

It was a lovely place to stay, with very easy and comfortable rooms. Everything was well organized and the breakfast that we had in the morning was great. Definitely on the top of our list of places that we stayed at in Scotland.

In this guesthouse there are very clean and comfortable rooms. The beds are sooo comfy. I liked it a lot. The atmosphere was really great. In the evening we had to fill in a form about what we want to have for breakfast. It was really correct. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay at the woodlands. We were welcomed on arrival and shown to our lovely room called iona. The layout was great and modern. The hospitality was great and the breakfast was lovely. The only thing I would suggest is to grit the decking as it gets very slippy when it's cold and icy. Would definitely stay...

Good: Great location in Drumnadrochit which is half way from Fort Augustus to Inverness, and very near Loch Ness, near restaurants, shops etc. Very clean rooms, the botton ground family room was big enough for a family member who has a wheelchair, good breakfast, nice views, lovely gardens outside, wifi connection, location was quiet, good friendly service from the young...

Outside grounds beautiful they have a lovely garden. Rooms ok but you do hear bathroom noise from next door rooms.
