The free "in room" internet rarely worked at all in our room (room 3) our daughter and son-in-law had better luck in room 5, but still had some problems. The downstairs lounge was allowed to get incredibly hot on a warm sunny day before they turned off the radiator and opened a window. They had some drinks for sale in...

Day 4 of our North Coast 500 road trip. A warm welcome, a stylish, more than comfortable, room to base ourselves for a couple of nights and breakfasts that were feasts. What a treat! All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed the part they played in making Mackays a very special place. Thank you

From the moment you enter reception the can feel the quality of this hotel. The decor in the lounge which you pass through on the way upstairs is lovely and offers a lovely room to relax and read a book in or chat with friends. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the bed is just the most comfortable imaginable. The...

Sitting writing this review after eating what has to be the best breakfast I have had! Every single item was either locally sourced or homemade and I certainly won't need to eat until dinner. Lovely bedroom with excellent ensuite facilities. Reason for 4 stars rather than 5 - price! This B&B was the most expensive of the 6 we stayed...

Mackay's Rooms and the Lazy Crofter Bunkhouse is an absolutely amazing place to stay. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. I stayed here for a couple weeks and would highly recommend it for all types of travel whether they are business, family, large groups, or romantic getaways. The sights from the front door are epic, and prices are great.

Absolutely stunning hotel on the most north-westerly tip of Scotland. Stunning scenery and location. The room was amazing, big comfy beds (feather free if required!), fabulous underfloor heating in the ensuite with power shower. Breakfast was fantastic with homemade granola and fresh compote, full Scottish breakfast and local special dishes. The owners were lovely and helpful. Great open fire in...
