The place is a brilliant example of the small BnBs you find all over Scotland. With only a handful of rooms it has all the quality of a hotel with the warmth of a home. It is also extremely reasonably priced and has two lovely dogs.

Nigel and Stella are excellent hosts with very friendly and helpful advice and of course, a good Scottish breakfast! We found the rooms comfortable and suitably fitted out and we had lovely views from ours. Our friendly hosts were on hand to recommend places to visit, walks to suit all abilities and of course, good places to eat. Galvelbeg House,...

My (adult) son and I shared a twin room at the front of the house. It was well appointed, with a generously sized bathroom (shower, actually) and very comfy beds. There was a very welcome coffee tray, with the most delicious sweetmeats baked by Stella. In the morning, Nigel very kindly served us breakfast half an hour earlier than the...

Gavin, Many thanks for your great review, good to hear your room was up to standard! Stella's home-baking usually goes down very well. No problem with the early breakfast, hopefully it set you up for the very long drive down to Kent! Look forward to welcoming you again on your next family visit. Regards Nigel & Stella

We only booked one night accommodation but our room was very comfortable, bright and clean. The homemade shortbread in the room was delicious and the mini creme eggs at reception for Easter was a welcomed personal touch. Fantastic very fresh fruit salad at breakfast and the cooked breakfast was plentiful and nicely presented. Great location. Could not fault this little...

Vivienne, Many thanks for your glowing review and all the kind words you had to say about us. Stella's shortbread usually does go down well and you were lucky to find any mini-eggs as I keep dipping in for one every time I find an excuse to walk past!!! Awesome athmosphere, nice and clean rooms, very very DELICIOUS homemade breakfast and biscuits. We booked quite spontaneous and everything was perfect. Another benefit is the free parking place. We'll definitely come back.
