Didn't know what to expect as it is a hostel but what a hostel! rooms are spacious, well appointed and clean. lovely atmosphere about the place. the Kata's look brilliant and this townie may well be tempted to stay in one. The Barn where the wedding will be is huge and...

My husband and I got married here last year 10/08/16 and it was the most amazing experience. It is a lot of hard work to prep everything yourself but totally worth it as you can really create any look/idea you want. It's also a great experience for you and your guests as the whole site is sectioned off for wedding...

Aww you're making us blush! Thank you for all your lovely comments, I've passed them on to the team. I'm so glad to hear that you had an amazing wedding here, like you say it is a lot of hard work as it's all DIY but the sense of achievement of what you've done must be amazing. Hopefully you and...

We love the outdoors - camping, mountain biking and hill walking etc so this was the perfect place for us. We arrived a little earlier than the advertised check in but this was absolutely no problem and we were given directions to the high meadow where we were camping. It was spotlessly clean, the views were amazing and being able...

Sounds like you had a great stay Linda. Thanks for taking time to review us. We love fires too, wouldn't really be camping without one, I hope you got to roast a marshmallow or two? I'm sorry to hear the facilities let us down a little, we do let bikers use them and as you say we clean them regularly....

Easily accessible location that is signposted - couldn't fault anything. The katta teepee was perfect space for two couples and with the wood burner along with the gas cooker we had more than what we needed. The location was very peaceful and tranquil with beautiful views all around. Overall, I'd throughly recommend you visit even just for a night -...

What a place. We went with friends and more or less booked out the Farmhouse. Great cycling routes, great clean accommodation, great walks from there, great places to visit. The kids did a mountain bike beginners bike day tuition with friendly and informative staff. Can see this place becoming really popular in years to come so please do not tell...

Our 4th visit to Comrie Croft but first in a woodland pitch. It was the kids wish on our last visit to camp beside the pond and rope swing. We've been visiting since 2014 and it's lovely to return each time and see the changes and improvements being made to the Croft all following their eco friendly ethos. We absolutely...

Aww thanks Donna! It's always lovely to hear that families have enjoyed their time here. I agree the woods make the experience just a little bit more special, plus you found there are so many uses for a stick! Hope to see you and the kids back again soon. Amanda (Croft Communications)

We had a fantastic weekend camping here really feels like your wild camping, we had pitch 4 which allowed us to easily get our stuff from our car to our pitch as it was next to the road but it's only a drop off road and you still feel in the middle of the woods. All the pitches looked great...

Me my husband and the dog all stayed in a Kata for 2nights. The Kata was surprisingly bigger than I imagined. It had basic supplys for cooking and heating. Being February it was very cold so we spent a lot of our night maintenaning the log burner and drinking wine....im not Complaining. The toilet facilities up the top of campsites...

Great to hear that you and your family enjoyed staying in one of our Kata's. As you found out Kata 5 isn't the most romantic, but we built it with access for families and less mobile people in mind. I'm sorry to hear that the cleanliness wasn't up to our usual high standards, I've passed these comments along with the...

We were lucky enough to be the first occupants of the newly finished Katas 3 and we were so thankful. Beautifully finished inside with the eco toilet in the outhouse.
