The Hotel was lovely and clean, Maureen and Tom were fab hosts and the meals were delicious, evening and breakfast. We didn't have long enough on the Island, but maybe get back over and spend longer next time. No hesitation to recommend Stromabank Hotel.

We spent 3 night here 6-8June 2015 having had a few hours on Hoy last year which was not enough. We found this hotel on line and what a good choice, it is clean and hospitable, run by freindly people happy to give local information to guide you to the of the beaten track parts of Hoy. After deciding to stay overnight in Hoy for a weekend in June we did not anticipate how difficult it would be to find any local shops or accommodation. We arrived at the Stromabank at 10pm and lucky for us there was one room available. We were given a wam welcome and did not in any way feel like we were...

The entrance is a little scruffy and I was a bit anxious about our room, but when we got there it was fabulous. The views were amazing. The room was neat, clean and well furnished with everything that you could...
