We had a 3 three night stay whilst working in the port and the lady couldn't have done any more for us. As we were arriving late and starting work very early we were too early for breakfast however we were given bacon buns to take with us. We would definitely return to the Broom Lodge!
Great 2 night stay here, would highly recommend, only 5/ 10 minutes walk into town, Location is perfect, my Husband has COPD, so was in ideal location for everything. We booked Double room with private bathroom, it was great clean and spacious, Chloe was very nice, friendly, helpful. Will definitely book here again next time in Largs.
This is a smashing B&B!! We had a lovely family room with en-suite. Seona the owner warmly welcomed us and a tasty and plentiful Scottish Breakfast was given. All we needed for our stay in Largs. We will def be back at The Broom Lodge. Thank you!
We were welcomed by pleasant and polite hosts. The decor was old and poorly maintained. During our stay the shared shower ran out of hot water. The central heating hadn't been on, and the rooms were being heated by electric heaters. The hosts did not acknowledge the shower was cold, they instead waited hours until the hot water had returned and tried telling us that there was never a problem. The breakfast the following morning was incredibly average.
We stayed in the en-suite family room which was adequate for our family of three having two double beds. The bathroom was tiny though but I don't think there is much that could be done about that as it's a very old building. The lady who runs the B&B was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely and everything cooked to order, plus an array of cereals, fresh fruit and yogurts. We chatted to some lovely people over breakfast and had a nice stay.
