This was our second visit to the hotel, on the first occasion we stayed in the Glenrothes suite (was also a 5 star stay) We returned to stay at the room with the bath on the mezzanine floor I can not recall the name!) and we were not disappointed - very well appointed and sizable room. Both dinner and breakfast were very good, hotel were doing the best that they could under the current circumstances Our original booking was going to be cancelled but good communication allowed us to move one night forward. Good value for money across the board - would highly recommend. One small change from out first visit was the lack of a small decanter of whisky baring the same name as your room - but given the everything else will let that slide I am sure this will be reinstated in better times.

We had a perfect breakfast celebration today. Our original plans had to change & the hotel were very accommodating. Service & food was excellent. The current Covid situation did not effect our visit & the safety measures in place make you feel safe. Thank you & we look forward to returning soon.

Friendly staff, comfortable, clean, good bar and nice food! Everything was fantastic, we really enjoyed it, even with the covid restrictions and most distilleries closed for tours! Enjoyed talking to the bar manager who brewed his own beer style on draught

Had a generous voucher for this hotel as a Christmas present. Expired end May 2020. Tried to spend it before lockdown announced but both Sunday dates I tried to book lunch for were fully booked. E mailed the hotel when they reopened and asked if they would honour the voucher. No response at all, What poor PR. Even if they had replied saying no and giving a reason that would have been better than no reply!

Dear plscotland170, Thank you for your communication. We have gone back through our emails and cannot find one asking for a voucher extension which has not been replied to. I am sure that you will understand that as all of our staff were on furlough for several months some emails may have slipped through the net, and we apologise if this is the case. If you would be so kind as to get in touch with a member of our reception team to discuss your voucher as we will of course honour an extension on your voucher. We very much look forward to welcoming you to The Station Hotel

We stayed at the Station Hotel in Rothes for two nights over the weekend of 28th-30th August, 2020, in what was our first Post-Lockdown break. It was clear upon arrival, that the hotel took the health and wellbeing of it's guests and staff very seriously with a concise questionnaire and temperature checks before we were given access to our room. There were also numerous hand sanitising facilities throughout the hotel and the room had been thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and sealed prior to our arrival. All of this was very reassuring in the current climate and all guests/staff observed the instructions to wear face coverings in the Corridors and Reception areas. Our room was very well appointed with plenty of storage available, a great shower and in-room hot drinks facilities, everything that we needed really. It is clear that the restoration of the building and it's interior has been carried out to a very high standard and both the Restaurant & Bar areas were very plush and welcoming. We ate in the Restaurant on the second night of our stay and the food was extremely good as was the breakfast on the two mornings that we ate there with plenty of choice on the menu. I have to say that Ann(e) who served us breakfast on both mornings and dinner in the evening was absolutely wonderful. Nothing was a problem to her and she had an exceptionally welcoming and friendly manner which really impressed us. I have to say that we were very impressed with all of the staff members that we encountered, from the Reception, the Bar, the Restaurant to the Cleaning staff all were very polite and made us feel very welcome. If we find ourselves back in the area we will definitely make a point of staying at the Station Hotel again.
