This was a very last minute get away over New Year. The staff are all very friendly, courteous and willing to help. The food in the restaurant was excellent and despite it being Hogmanay and a function going on in the hotel we managed to get a table and we weren't disappointed. Our room was comfortable although in need of...

Booked in for 1 night when visiting family. Rather tired and old fashioned but clean and bed comfortable. No heating in bathroom. Menu a bit pedestrian and veg were tasteless and not hot enough. Did not have hot breakfast but choice again uninspiring - Premier Inn much better. That said staff were friendly and helpful and even obliged with loan...

My friends and I stayed at the Stotfield Hotel for a night on our way to Inverness. It is ideally located, as you can admire the sea and the golf course. The building looks old-fashion yet very stylish, with a luxurious entrance hall. It is a very quiet building, with a very nice staff. The room was good and clean,...

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and the last. Each time I have been tempted back buy the advert on line and let down each time. The wifi was always dropping in and out, I was at the back of the hotel and had no phone signal. The food was excellent as usual but the...

We went as a large group to see "Tom Jones". The evening included a 3 course meal, Tom Jones and a disco. The event was a great success! The tables were beautifully laid with candelabras, and the food was delicious. I had the pate, chicken, followed by a chocolate pudding. All cooked well, and the main course was served hot....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A warm welcome awaits you at this family run hotel in Lossiemouth. A great relaxed family friendly atmosphere exists at this hotel and is frequented by many returning guests and locals alike. The breathtaking view from the front of hotel overlooks the Moray Firth and beyond to the Cromarty Firth and to the hills of Caithness. The hotel is directly opposite the ancient Moray Golf Club, and is ideally situated for exploring the Coastal, Castle or Whisky trail, as well as being well situated for visiting the cities of Inverness and Aberdeen and surrounding area. The Stotfield Hotel has recently undergone a refreshing transformation of many of its bedrooms and also the ground floor guest area. However, this historic hotel retains many of its original character and features from 1895, including the fantastic sweeping staircase and period revolving front door. During your stay you can enjoy free access to high speed wireless broadband throughout the hotels public areas, free car parking (limited spaces available, ample on street parking adjacent to the hotel) but most of all comfortable and relaxed surroundings. ... more   less
