I have never stayed in a B&B before as I was always put off at the thought of staying in someones house, I needn't have worried. Reiver house is a lovely house, Sue was lovely and welcoming and went out her way to assist us. Couldnt fault our stay, thank you.

From the moment I arrived Sue, Rob and Paul made me and my pup so welcome. The room was immaculate clean sheets regularly and fresh towels every second day. The breakfast was fantastic with lovely choices each morning Beautiful decanter of fresh water with fruit or mint on arrival back at night....occasional home-baked cake too which was delicious. I had booked for 5 nights, stayed an extra one!! Booked for July and August Absolutely ten stars. The feeling was friendly and welcoming a real home from home. I felt sad to leave. Perfect place to visit the stunning Highlands They couldn't have been nicer. I can't wait to go back. Meadow did lie on her blanket after her first inspection of the room...!!

We had a great stay at Reiver House! The Covid pandemic meant that we couldn't stay with our family, but could stay locally. Reiver House was recommended to us, and we weren't disappointed. Sue made us very welcome, the whole house has been freshly decorated and our room was really nice, with a comfortable bed and a good ensuite. Breakfast was excellent, with a great choice. All in all a great place to stay at a good price. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. You won't be disappointed if you try it.

Very warm welcome from Kenneth and Graham when we arrived , they offered to carry our case up to room and also offered us tea or coffee . The room was a good size and very clean , not that we gave it a four in a bed check over 😂. Maybe only one small thing being the TV was a bit small and maybe not in the right place as if both lying in bed difficult to see . Had a very good sleep on the comfy bed . Breakfast in the morning was very nice with a good selection of hot meals . We both had full scottish and thoroughly enjoyed it. If ever back in Forres would definitely use this B&B again .

We were recommended Reiver house by family who have stayed here before. Our visit to Forres was under sad circumstances and Kenneth and Graham were so understanding, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. They were so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. With regard to the Guest House itself, the rooms were spotlessly clean, the breakfast delicious and the overall ambience delightful. We need to be in Forres again soon and they have thankfully been able to accommodate us during our next stay. Thank you so much and will see you again shortly. Pam & Ian
