I booked the Glenisle at very short notice for part of a surprise birthday weekend break for my partner. At the time I booked, the only available room left was 14, which turns out to have been the best in the hotel. Given this, I wouldn't describe it as a budget option, but gladly the room and overall feel of...

Just got back from a 2 night break in this beautiful hotel. After a lovely welcome we were shown to our "cosy double" which lived up to it's name - small, but perfectly equipped for an extremely comfortable stay. The customer service from all staff was exemplary, nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfasts and we enjoyed a fantastic evening...

Stayed here on a 3 night Valentines getaway and had such a wonderful experience! Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and shown to a spotlessly tidy room with a gigantic, fluffy feather-down bed and a stunning view over Lamlash and the bay. Slept peacefully and awoke to one of the best breakfasts I've had in years - a full Scottish,...

We booked the premium room and were not disappointed. The views are stunning and the room was very comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The wood fires in the lounge and bar areas were very welcome after a brisk walk adding to the cosy atmosphere. DInner was delicious with a nice variety on offer. Will be back

From the point of ringing up to book to very reluctantly leaving we found everyone really helpful and friendly. We felt we were important and valued. The hotel has been organised with a great attention to detail and a sensitivity to what the guests would need and enjoy. For example there was a pair of binoculars in our room which...

This was my 4th visit to the beautiful Glenisle Hotel in Lamlash. It was an absolute pleasure to be there again. The food was delicious as usual and I now have a new favorite red wine! Coming back to the hotel after a long day walking, sitting in front of either of the two roaring fires with a g&t is...

Room 2. Pros: nice ocean view, clean and tidy room, staff super friendly. Cons: shower head damaged (water uneven) and water pressure is quite low. Sound proofing not great, can hear the music from downstairs all day long, quite annoying if one wants a quite holiday.
