We go to Arran every year sometimes twice and everytime it is faultless-this time the hotel was the same-great room only fault would be the changed teabags and coffee in the room which were awful-must be a new supplier. BUT what let this trip down completely was the restaurant Cruise! The menu has been bared down completely-veggie options are scarce...

Dear Nazia, Thank you for your comments and I am extremely sorry for the service you received in Cruize. This is not the standard we expect from any of our team and I will be speaking to them all as this is clearly not acceptable. I would be grateful if you could get back to me with further information on...

Stayed for two nights in beautiful sunshine. We had a room in the newer part of the spa resort and is defiantly worth the upgrade. Came with a double and separate bunk room for kids so perfect for families. Room was very new and nicely finished. There was a portable air con unit there during our stay which was very...

My husband and I spent a relaxing break here one weekend in February in the spa resort. Room was spotlessly clean with great room facilities. All resort facilities were exceptional, service and the food in the restaurants was brilliant. We took our car over on the ferry which was reasonably priced and allowed us to visit right round the island...

We've been to the Auchrannie many times - we usually stay at the House Hotel but were travelling with our niece so booked into one of the new Executive rooms in the Spa Resort. The room was amazing - separate bunk room for the children was a hit! Lots of nice touches like the tvs at the end of each...

Briliant place to stay on Arran. It often rains on Arran so there are a lot of activities at this hotel. Very popular with familys with young kids. Spar treatments pool canoeing tours & so on. A great place to use as a base to see the rest of the island as they provide you with a map. Very plush...

We decided to have a stay action and picked here as we had heard good things about it - we weren't disappointed. We stayed in one of the luxury family rooms, so we had a separate room for the kids and a terrace to sit out on. The room was well equipped and quiet, with great housekeeping that kept on...

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in the Spa Hotel on a bed and breakfast rate. We thought the staff were very attentive and helpful in all areas of the hotel. Our room was a very good size and the bed was very comfortable however we were really bothered by the noise of the people walking about in...

Our 2nd visit to Auchrannie and we love it, perfect family break and superb facilities to entertain our 5 year old. Rooms are excellent, very high standard, we stayed in an executive family room. Breakfast and dinner were excellent in Cruize and efficiently served, caters for everyone, all hard working staff pleasant and efficient, we cannot recommend highly enough, in...

We stayed in a Luxury lodge for 3 nights. The place was very nicely appointed with everything you'd reasonably need. 3 beds, 3 baths made getting 6 of us ready pretty easy. Loads of room and we enjoyed being in there. Fittings are modern and quite luxe, the wifi was good and the only minor gripes were the sound system...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the heart of the beautiful isle of Arran lies the multi-award winning, family owned Auchrannie Resort. Auchrannie now consists of two four star hotels; the romantic and relaxing ‘House Hotel’ catering for couples and those wanting a more intimate experience whilst the contemporary ‘Spa Resort’ is popular with families and those prefer a more modern feel to their surroundings. In addition, the resort features 30 five-star self-catering lodges (sleeping up to 8 in total luxury and therefore perfect for the extended family), 3 outstanding, award winning restaurants and bars, 2 leisure centres both with pools, destination spa featuring treatments by ESPA and Ishga and an outdoor adventure centre. Arran is Scotland’s most accessible islands, often referred to as "Scotland in Miniature” due to the dramatic contrast between the hills and mountains in the north, and sweeping moorlands on the south of the island. A short 55 minute ferry journey off the Ayrshire coast, Arran is easily reachable by those arriving into any of central Scotland’s main airports as well as those travelling by car, train and coach. Whilst many tourists arrive on the island simply to kick back and relax, the island is packed with attractions and sights for visitors of all ages. ... more   less
