The Glenartney is a bright and very clean small hotel set back a couple of hundred yards off the sea front at Brodick. The young owners were very friendly and welcoming and provided an excellent breakfast. We stayed the one night and were delighted with our stay.

We tend to spend an overnight somewhere different after wintering our caravan on Arran. Due to circumstance, we were relocated here on the day. It was welcoming, comfortable, with a great breakfast. It had been on our list to try for a while, and we weren't disappointed. Would recommend to anyone.

Very nice and well-run place with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The owners have thought of everything you may need. Boardgames, books in the lounge. Extra tea and coffee. Breakfast was great too. Located near 2 good pubs. Loved it!

Speechless! We booked the Glenartney on whim and at the last minute after accommodations we had previously booked proved so utterly disappointing that we left after one night (booked a 3 night stay)!!! Access to the Isle of Arran is by ferry only. We sailed into the ferry terminal in Brodick and spent the day hiking through the Machrie Moor...

Do try this one. The new owners will make it even better. Great location tucked up a side street above town with short walk downhill to Brodrick brasserie and the Fiddlers music bar and restaurant. Two lovely lounges. Parking on site and in quiet street. Breakfast lovely and first b&b in Scotland on our trip to offer the national breakfast...

This guest house has recently been acquired by Ross and Hannah Duncan and they are fantastic hosts. From the minute you arrive they are both so helpful and can't do enough to make your stay a pleasant experience. Coffee and tea is available at all times and cakes are there for you in the afternoon. The breakfasts are very good...

I had initially thought we were overextending our trip by including Arran in our itinerary. Arran actually turned into one of everyone's favorites, however. Our group of 4 spent two nights here in September (2016). It is a lovely B&B. There are two common rooms with lots of interesting reading (particularly regarding Scotland and Arran). Tea is available all the...

Situated just off the main road through Brodick, far enough back to be quiet. We had the two rooms at the top of a staircase with a private landing and a bathroom between, ideal for a family. The view from bedrooms overlooked Brodick Bay and the Ferry, but the view from our bathroom was spectacular - Brodick Bay and Goatfell....

We stayed one night in early september and we were satisfied. Small room but cosy and fully equipped. Clean. Bathroom was not on suite but private in any case. Big and clean. Breakfast was delicious both the English one than the porridge. Common spaces are great with all you need to find information and or ideas to spend your time...

One of our greatest assets is our stunning peaceful location.Far enough away from the centre of Brodick to have peace and quiet but close enough to enjoy all the amenities within a few minutes walk. The Glenartney is our fully renovated guesthouse filled with stylish high quality detail. We have created the place we would love to stay in; characterful, very clean and comfortable; a home from home. We have cycle, golf and outdoor gear storage, there are walking and biking trails from our door.Although our bedrooms are on the small side, they are very comfortable with very high standard beds and furnishings.
