Myself & 2 daughters stayed overnight here in large family room with a double & 2 single beds. Very comfortable and accommodating stay and a very nice breakfast and evening meal, too. Would certainly recommend to others.

Room was very comfortable ( if a bit warm) and quiet. I booked late so had to share a bathroom with another room - not really a problem. Entry via pub was not ideal but I was reassured when I saw the room. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were very pleasant.

I stayed at the Bruce inn for a couple of nights, fantastic view of Falkland Palace from my room. Nice clean room, good breakfast! The public bar was welcoming and comfortable the restaurant had a limited menu but the food was of a good standard. Excellent value

We stayed overnight prior to a wedding, the online booking was easy and the staff had already prepared a travel cot in case we needed one (we stayed with our 2 year old). THe room was clean and had everything we needed, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We ate in the evening and the food was good, home-cooked pub...

This is my second visit to The Bruce and again was not disappointed. Lovely clean room with Tea/coffee making facilities and very comfortable beds. Room was very spacious (I was in the family one) and very stylishly finished. Had an amazing view of the palace from the bedroom window. Host was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast in the...

We stayed for a family party. Good sized room that was clean and well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities. Beds were extremely comfortable and we slept like logs. There was an excellent choice of breakfast that was delicious. I had the scrambled eggs and salmon - delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly - I would definitely recommend...

Great log burner provides warm welcome on a freezing night. The steak pie was worth the long drive. Also the chicken fajitas hit the spot. The cost was below average and I thought that the drinks were buy one get one free they were so cheap. I would have awarded 5 stars if the toilet was more cared for.

We were a couple of hill walkers from the TRIMARC club. Very friendly place and nice size room but not heated other than an electric type radiator so it was rather chilly for December. We had an evening meal which was good as was breakfast next morning,

Oh man, I love this place! With only three rooms you feel as though you're visiting old friends. Two of the rooms are within a suite and share a common bathroom, the other is set down the hall. There is a separate entrance for the guests if you don't want to enter via the bar and restaurant, but who would!?!...
