Margaret has a lovely, comfortable home which was our base for 3 nights while in Fife. Breakfasts were filling and tasty and definitely Scottish! she arranged a tribute to our Canadain province and introduced us to people who successfully helped with our geneology questions.Quiet area. Central location. Thanks so much Margaret.

We stayed here for a wedding, and Margaret was great. The house is amazing and I would love to decorate any place I get like that- loads of antiques and ornaments, and paintings of her ancestors. We had the sea view room (the bed is gorgeous, it's a four poster) but couldn't see much of the sea because it was...

We've been in Selcraig House three nights. I think this is a wonderful place to stay and Margaret, the host, is really nice. I would highly recommend it especially the tiny lovely garden. Beds are comfortable and all rooms are en suite. The breakfast is pretty immense with most ingredients sourced locally. You can find car park in front of...

My husband, baby daughter and I, had a lovely stay with Margaret in the Selcraig House last night. We were only able to get away from Edinburgh for one night, and this was the perfect spot to come. Selcraig is only one street away from the main Market Street, and not too far from the beautiful harbor. Breakfast is warm...

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, the house is a treasure trove of ornaments, pictures and antique furniture. Built in 1747 it has been wonderfully maintained, our en-suite room, with a 'sea glimpse' had a grand four-poster bed and was very comfortable. Our host Margaret was so welcoming & chatty and provided a tremendous breakfast table of fruits, cereals and cooked...

After watching the last (delayed) day of the British Open at St Andrews my wife and I were lucky enough to find Selcraig House. It was the most pleasant of surprises and our host Margaret was a delightful person and a pleasure to meet. We were taken by the house which was built in/about 1720 and has been meticulously restored...

Stayed here for 3 nights this week for the Crail Book Festival. Lovely en-suite single room with glorious views over chimney pots and stepped-gabled houses to the sea and the islands. Breakfasts delicious (I do so like proper poached eggs) and Margaret is so kind and pleasant, and so informative about the local area. Next time I'll do the Fife...

This 200 years old cottage is located in the heart of the cosy town of Crail, in front of a little car park, 10 seconds to the beach walk. If you're lucky with your booking, you can stay in the sea view room ( and its "dependance" ), so beautiful! Margaret, the owner, is a very kind person; she gives...
