We stayed here with a tent. The site is secure, the staff lovely and it had great facilties. The bus stop to Edinburgh is a 5 min walk away, but make sure you take a torch or light if you walk back in the dark, the road has no lighting. I would highly recommend staying here.

We visited here for 4 nights to coincide with the scottish half marathon and where really pleased with our choice. We got lodge number 3 which is a 2 bedroom with a hot tub. The lodge was a good size and very clean on arrival. A nice sized kitchen meant cooking was not a problem and there was more than...

this is our 3rd stay with our motorhome at Drummohr, love this site, the warden and staff are all very nice and accommodating. The site itself is nipping clean as are the toilet/washing facilities. Musselburgh itself is only a short bus/car journey away (can easily be walked) we always visit Edinburgh when we stay here as there is a bus...

Stayed in a hexilodge for two nights with my 4 year old. Accommodation was ideal for someone wanting a camping experience but doesn't have any of the equipment or know how. Site was easy to find, well maintained, and within easy reach of Edinburgh. Staff were on hand with great local knowledge, will definitely be back.

We've stayed a couple of times with our VW Campervan with attached awning. It's an excellent location to site yourself and visit the Edinburgh Fringe each day travelling in & out by bus. The bus stop is just a 10 minute walk away and at £1.60 per person per way a very economic and convenient means of access, especially as...

We stayed 3 nights in a touring caravan and found it really well located. Stony beach and coastal walk down the road, 6 mins on the train to Edinburgh and everything else you'd need located in Musselburgh. Pitch was fine and had help reversing in from the warden which was great. Main negative for me was the shower block. Even...

We arrived after a 60 mile bike ride with full luggage so were a bit tired. The reception staff was friendly and we were then taken to our pitch by a man in a buggy who looked as though we should have been going faster. This was by far and away the most expensive site we used on our 6...

Excellent for families. Our 3 bedroom cottage is so clean and cosy. Everything is spotless and all the facilities are useful. The only complaint from hubby was the poor wifi reception. The hosts are nice and no 26 bus into Edinburgh city takes about 45mins one way - nice way to see the outskirts. We accidentally found a great restaurants/bar...

All credit to and admiration of the staff for managing the daily arrivals and departures of visitors from around the world and across the UK with such courtesy and professionalism. Well maintained grounds and leafy, varied pitches seemed to meet everyone's needs during our 19 day stay. Excellent location with regular buses into Edinburgh from the bus stop a short...

Good phone/internet signal wifi is extra but not too dear. Shop sells basics, friendly staff and nice clean toilet block. Bus to Edinburgh is a short walk away and there is a small...
