How can any reviewer on TA infer that an old building is a negative? Surely this is exactly where it's homely charm lies? Ok, it's not a purpose built modern hotel but if that's what rocks your boat there's plenty of them out there. Room was super clean and bed very comfy with good quality bedding. In fact everything was...

Decided to visit the Londonderry Arms hotel for food on Easter Monday. I knew it would be busy and expected a little wait. After a few minutes of staff looking at us and not bothering coming near us we were finally seated in a corner, but.... Never received a menu. We sat for a further 10 minutes waiting for a...

We enjoyed a great 3 course meal in the Restaurant. Everything was impressive from start to finish - friendly staff greeted us upon arrival at the hotel, even though we were running late for our lunch booking. The service was fantastic and we were genuinely impressed with how attentive the staff were, particularly during a busy bank holiday weekend. The...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on Saturday night . The hotel is old in appearance and decor but spotlessly clean . The staff were attentive and courteous and the evening 3 course meal as part of our deal was excellent . The breakfast was perfect and our packed lunch also . I would definitely stay again .

Great food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere! We will definitely be back. The Londonderry Arms is a beautiful hotel and picturesque surroundings. Enjoyed learning more about the history of the hotel too. First class!

This is an ideal place to award yourself with a good dinner after a brisk walk along the sea front The range of food available is more than adequate and is very reasonably priced At this time of year, the restaurant is not normally very busy ( unless a busload of tourists arrives) and the service is very prompt Seafood...

We a group of annual guests staying in this hotel for a weekend of set dancing enjoyed friendly hospitality. The hotel retains its old world character and style. For us that is its charm, for others expecting modern layouts this could be a disappointment. The rooms are comfortable, clean and serviced every day. The bar restaurant is a busy place but...

This has been a favourite in the past but on last visit was very disappointed. At 6.45 on a Saturday evening, no room in carpark. First 2 items we tried to order from the menu unavailable- before 7pm on a Saturday evening. When seated, realised we had a very wobbly table. We were reseated at the back of the restaurant...
