We just stopped here for tea in the beautiful gardens. What a well-kept, well-managed place, right on the river. Full of charm and attention to detail. The staff could not have been more helpful. Everything was perfect, we will definitely come again but to eat next time. Congratulations.

We didn't stay but we had our wedding reception here in July this year. Tracy and all her staff were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, very accommodating, helpful, friendly. The food was excellent as always (compliments to the chef and his staff). Everything flowed seemlessly and we felt very confident leaving all the arrangements in their capable hands. The...

We went to the Priory for a birthday lunch. We had pre-lunch drinks in the pleasant lounge. Located on the site of an ancient priory this character proporty has been sympathetically converted into an interesting hotel. We have not stayed at the hotel so cannot comment on rooms etc. However the areas we visited were well presented and the staff...

The Priory Hotel is set in picturesque gardens offers old word charm, sophistication and elegance that few hotels can match. It is therefore a pity that lack of attention to detail means I can only rate this hotel as very good and not excellent. Breakfast served on the outside terrace was spoilt by the staff not removing the overnight dew...

Wonderful to find a hotel that excludes children under 14, No wonder this hotel is so popular and really special, the excellent reviews bear out the fact certain people want peace and quiet, Our room was delightful with matching fabrics & furniture, there was absolutely nothing to fault. The staff were excellent and food superb, we shall most certainly return...

We met for lunch here for the second time recently. The food was wonderful: scallops followed by grouse. The service was excellent and attentive too. There is a comfortable lounge for drinks and coffee as well as a terrace looking out onto a well-maintained garden and river beyond. Excellent occasion and we expect to return.

Dorset Delight After a couple of hours driving it was not too difficult to find this hotel. However the one way system into the car park meant cars can't enter and leave at the same time!! From leaving the car park we entered the hotel via the lounge - the gardens and hotel over the river and are a true...

With my wife we stayed last weekend for a wonderful experience. So let's get the bad news out of the way. The bathroom was too small and you need to climb like a mountain goat to reach room 9 up and down the steps and stairs. But that's what you get with a Priory! The good news - it's a...

A birthday dinner with family on a still, moonlit September night in the shadow of Wareham's Saxon church, you are already in the mood to be delighted and we were not disappointed. The building combines medieval charm with modern standards of comfort and luxury. Food was superb. Three different starters, three different mains and three different desserts all faultless. Canapes...
