This is a very old building. Full of 16th century features. Narrow stairs and little nooks and crannies I like this sort of place. Full of character The room I was given was somewhat small but that was fine. It was clean and warm. No complaints. Staff were very polite.

Stayed for 2 nights while walking Purbeck Way. Good points, comfy bed, younger staff are nice! Not so good points, very dark, needs a good repaint etc. BAD POINTS, grubby, everything from cups to showers were dirty, some staff,possibly owners was not overly welcoming although

Had 2 nights whilst visiting family. What a lovely hotel, loads of character but be aware of low door frames which can hurt your head if you don't pay attention to the signs warning you to duck. Breakfast was very good and tasty. Great location in town centre but no parking
