We've once again enjoyed a delicious and well served lunch at The Swan. Each repeat visit we wait with baited breath to see if standards have wavered or it's 'the chef's day off' but we've not been let down yet. Our next treat must be the Sunday Roast two course menu for £12.00.

Called in over lunch to check out over a glass of wine. Suffice to say booked an evening meal eating early to go on to concert, Pasadena Roof Orchestra (also excellent and as remembered!) Both mine and my wife's meal, mains only, were very good as was the service. We have now booked a return visit to meet friends there...

This is a lovely venue for a short break. The rooms are clean the staff attentive and friendly. The food is of an exceptional standard and affordable, This place has character, if you are looking for a quiet location then this is not for you, it is a busy pub with lots going on eg live music, pool competitions but...

Came here for lunch and ordered the burgers. We were really impressed. The burgers were excellent as expected from the £11.00 pricetag. Very nice salad and chips accompanied them. Along with 2 small cokes, the bill came to £28 which is on the high side for burgers.

Was very busy and it seemed that the lady taking orders was also serving in bar we ended up going to the bar to order as was so busy I think they need extra staff on Sundays! The food...

Stayed here with my wife and was really pleased with every element of our stay. The staff in the bar that checked us were really pleasant and made check in seamless. Dinner was really tasty and there was a wide selection and really reasonably well priced. Breakfast was cooked fresh and tasty and plentiful. Looking forward to our next stay.

Went here with friends for Sunday lunch. We hadn't booked but they were able to accommodate us. We chose to sit in the bar as we felt it had more atmosphere. We had the two course for £12 menu and we weren't disappointed. My husband had liver and bacon and the rest of us had various roasts. There were about...

We booked in for one night's stay as we were going to a 60th birthday party. We were extremely surprised and pleased with our room - it was stylish, large and the ensuite shower had obviously recently been refitted and was sparkling and very modern. In particular I was impressed with the mirror which incorporated a digital clock and a...
