We stayed in one of the 3 bedroomed lodges overlooking the bay and the views were absolutely stunning. The accommodation was also clean and well equipped. Unfortunately the heating system was not fit for purpose as on one day we woke up to no hot water/ heating and on another occasion heat from the toilet radiators was unbearable and difficult... Great campsite, spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. Superb location for coastal walks and up the Golden Cap - amazing views. Only downside was the showers - not really hot enough. Fresh made pizzas excellent value. Will be returning. Recommend a visit the Abbotsbury enchanted gardens in the evening - magical !

Our family stayed in one of the static caravans and one of the lodges. The accommodation was very clean, very comfortable, well equipped and modern. The views and location are stunning but unfortunately our experiences in the on site shop and reception were not as pleasing. One young man was very helpful but sadly this cannot be said for the... The access road to this site is a narrow lane and unsuitable for caravans and Motorhomes. The front of the park is taken up by lodges and static vans and is extremely well kept with lovely views. The problem starts when you enter the touring field which is sloping and we asked for a gravel pitch. We and many others... More

I used to spend heaps of time in the area as a child - my husband has never been, neither has he stayed in a 'caravan'! We arrived, got our key and immediately the rain started - q lots of laughs unloading the car! The view from the van was still amazing and one you just can't grow tired off.... More

I would echo as the last contributor sentiment. Very narrow and busy approach lane to the site, but perhaps not surprisingly as caravans etc were arriving and let on to pitches from 1.30pm! onwards. The Staff in reception were friendly and helpful. It's help yourself to a pitch site which can be quite useful as the majority of pitches require... More

Despite waiting in a lay- by in order to arrive after the suggested arrival time of 3p.m., we turned into the approach road to come almost immediately face to face with a car and caravan who had left the site four hours later than the recommended departure time. Trippers were also beginning to leave the beach, so very quickly, a... More

Nice site, would stay at again. We had a great view of the sea. The caravan could have been cleaned better (we found last occupants food in the freezer and cupboard ), but the site was well maintained and quiet.

We recently stayed at this campsite at the end of august time...we were really looking forward to arriving as we had previously found seatown while we were staying elsewhere a few years back. Staff very friendly when we checked in and we went down to pick our pitch...the field slopes quite abit so was tricky finding a good flat pitch.... More

We had a terrific week in a spacious well equipped caravan. The park itself was quiet and very smart and well manicured. With sea views , beautiful walks and places to eat within walking distance it was the perfect place to relax.
