We hand a fantastic stay at the Ilchester Arms Hotel in Abbotsbury. We stayed for three nights and ate there every evening. The food was absolutely amazing and sensibly priced too. A great dog friendly hotel / pub with a real quirky feel, illustrated by the varied items of decor. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Helpful, polite and relaxed. What...

2 adults and two 2 teenagers had adjoining rooms witch have been recently been refurbished. The rooms were very clean Great value and staff who couldn't be more helpful. The food looked nice but we went across the road to the pub which is owned by the same people. The burgers were the best Will stop again

A very relaxing place to go for lunch. Fantastic set up for the kids included an Easter egg hunt. The service was prompt and friendly and of a high standard. We only stayed for lunch but the food was excellent.

My wife booked this pub for our family Easter lunch based on being dog friendly! It sure was. Really nice vibe from the beer garden to the bar. We all bar my farther had roasts, we all agreed these were the best we had eaten not cooked at home. The portion sizes were generous and everything including the horse radish...

Hello, Thank you for such a great review. We are so glad you enjoyed your Easter with us. We certainly are proud of our roasts here and hope you come back for a Sunday roast. If this is booked 24 hours or more in advance, it is also 10% off. Unfortunately we were very busy on Easter Sunday and there...

The inside of this pub is very quirky with lots to look at and lots of nooks and crannies. They have a box of games and toys to keep kids amused. However the food was disappointing. Any pub serving two slices of a supermarket loaf of bread, an apple, six grapes, celery, some lettuce and a triangle of supermarket cheddar...

Hello, Sorry to hear you were unhappy with your lunch. I can assure you that both the bread and cheese were sourced from local farms, as all of our fresh produce is. The cheese ploughman's is usually popular and we hear compliments on the size of the selection offered often. I hope you change your mind and decide to come...

We stopped here for lunch recently and was impressed by the friendly staff and great food. Nicely decorated (modern scrubbed tables & old flagstone style), with good ales on tap & well priced lunch menu. Even my dog was welcome. Car park & beer garden. Highly recommend the pork sandwich, which came with pieces of delicious crackling. We ordered chips...

We visited the Ilchester in Abbotsbury at Mothers day, it is very much a traditional english village, a beautiful setting. The food itself looked great and was very tasteful. And although the food was good and the atmosphere overall was good as well, it is my opinion that the food was slightly overpriced especially the starters and desserts. However overall...

Ilchester Arms Hotel restaurant flexed around our changing requirements as our family decided if they could attend Mothers Day lunch. Seven of us turned up and were taken to our table in a quiet area of the restaurant which gave us some privacy. We spent a very enjoyable two hours relaxing over lunch together to celebrate two our of family's...
