I have just got back from my hen weekend at West Pitt Farm and could not have wished for better! The cottages were immaculate and well equipped. We had the caterers in who provided a beautiful meal. The facilities were exactly what we wanted and to top it off we had the most wonderful weather! Would love to go back!

We had a wonderful time - the facilities, and the house and grounds were spotless. The views are absolutely beautiful. It's peaceful but not too far from civilisation either. Susanne was a great host. Bruno, our dog loved it.

We are a party of 10, who stayed at The Carthouse for 5 days in March 2014. Knowing the weather can be unpredictable we opted for this type of accommodation, as there is a swimming pool on-site and games room. The accommodation itself was beautifully clean and very comfortable; we were left to turn the heating up/down as we wanted,...

I booked out two of the cottages for a weekend trip for 13 gents in their late twenties. We really couldn't have been happier with the setup. The cottages were spacious and homely; the farm grounds were utterly picturesque. Susanne - who owns the farm - was also extremely helpful in terms of recommending local shops, pubs and restaurants, which...

We just returned from staying in the Carthouse which slept 10 - it really was a very lovely and homely cottage with everything you would need - great kitchen equipment, comfy beds and powerful showers. We found everything was carefully maintained to a high standard. We made lots of use of the swimming pool and games room which were great....

We were lucky to find accommodation for a large group near Tiverton. As the weather wasn't exactly favourable, it was a bonus to have the indoor pool and games' room, especially for the younger members. Our kitchen (Gate Lodge) was very modern and had lots of room, shame we didn't have to use it except for breakfast. Beds very comfortable....

We hired the Carthouse for a week over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The downstairs bedroom was a real plus for my parents. The pool was really very warm and a welcome distraction from UK TV. The rooms were all very clean and tastefully appointed. The kitchen was very well equipped. Susanne was an excellent host and we certainly...

“i spoke to a number of the other guests and they all stated that the standards were exceptional in all the properties. The key to which property you rent is size and number of bedrooms you require. All the properties, as I could see them had great views of the property and surrounding area.”
