We stayed in the pictured room which was a great room, lovely views of the fields. Parking is in a public car park, pay from 8am-6pm, only a short walk away. Welcoming owners. Our room had great walk in shower and slipper bath. Beautifully situated above Woolacombe so able to step away from the crowds. Easy walk down but steep...

In my opinion a true gem! Clean, modern, fresh, beautiful, luxury - the owners couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was amazing. We stayed in Lundy suite which has a separate bedroom - meant we could put little one to bed and we still had our time. We will be back.

Back from a three night stay at the Smugglers Rest, Will and Stacey have refurbished it beautifully. They also made us very welcome, great breakfast, best poached eggs ever, gin tasting went down very well too, with us and our 10 friends (who joined us for this). Overall a great find.

My partner and I have just returned from a gorgeous couple of days down on the coast. Stacey and Will made us feel very comfortable in their guest house. They couldn't be more welcoming. We arrived on Friday and before taking a trip into the village for dinner we enjoyed a drink downstairs, in Miss Fea's cafe. A great setting...

Built in the 1800s, the Smugglers Rest nestles in the quaint coastal village of Mortehoe, just a short walk from one of Europe's best beaches. Having welcomed visitors for over 100 years, this historic building is currently being renovated by new owners Stacey and Will, transforming the old bar into Miss Fea's Cafe, due to open mid June 2016. The BnB is open from the 27th May 2016 The Smugglers Rest offers 8 spacious en suite rooms, boasting stunning countryside views, and will eventually host evening dining events and live music.
