My mother and I have just had a delicious cream tea in front of a cosy log fire in a wonderfully relaxing sitting room. Friendly and welcoming staff who were attentive and unobtrusive. Easy to find and very accessible being close to the A30, ample parking and dog friendly. We loved It!

We visited with our Cockapoo & she was welcomed as well as we were. The room was clean & tastefully decorated & furnished. We dined in the bar area as we had the dog with us. The five course tasting menu was amazing & being a non meat eater I was equally well catered for. We also breakfasted in the...

We visited and stayed at the Arundel Arms Hotel for New years Eve 2016. We had a memorable stay & intend to come back regularly every six months or so. (It is a 70 minute journey from where we live in Torquay) We arrived at 3.00pm and went on a wonderful walk guided by a very informative map from reception,...

Our friend booked for lunch on Christmas Eve for a party of nine, including some overseas guests of hers. We had all been informed that the restaurant was shutting at 1500, but where not told on booking that the whole place was shutting at that time. I have no issue with the meal, which was excellent but at the dessert...

I have never stayed at hotel that gave a more homely atmosphere than this one. The rooms were beyond comfortable, staff extremely friendly and the kitchen was more than capable in dealing with my dietary requirements (gluten free bread etc.). Would highly recommend.

Just a quick note. This small hotel has everything. They have figured out how to run a great hotel there is nothing to not like. But I must mention the staff they treat you like a personal guest, interested in your well being. Use this hotel it is great.
