My wife and I chose The Swallows for B&B for an early Spring two-night break on the East Devon coast and were not disappointed. The location is ideal, five minutes walk from the town centre and beach and yet very quiet. The room was simply furnished but spotlessly clean, comfortable and also warm, which was welcome as the weather was...

We used as a stop over en route to St Ives. A friendly and personable hostess and an excellent breakfast. Very clean and tidy. Ironically the property appeared better when dark. Pretty lights along the path leading up to the front door. The smallest things make a difference. A painted front gate and repaired latch would help first impressions. I...

My friend and I spent a couple of days away in Exmouth and stayed at this great bed & breakfast. We stayed in the Superior Twin Room which was very comfortable & spacious enough for a small sofa & an armchair as well as the twin beds & en-suite. Room was well equipped & the breakfasts were delicious. Rachel &...

Thank you so much for a super stay in every way!! Really lovely and helpful people. B&B is in a great location. Our room was absolutely spotlessly clean, very homely and comfortable. The towels were lovely and fluffy. The room was well equip with kettle, toiletries, hairdryer, and there was access to an iron which saved the day. Breakfast was...

We stayed two nights in this cosy B&B. Rachel and David were very welcoming, and helped us plan our day. Delicious breakfast. We walked to Sidmouth - and taxi back. Hope to return in the summer. Alex and Siobhan

This was a real find, parking to the rear, character property and great hosts. Nice touch was fresh milk for your room which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was excellent and all locally sourced. We walked down the hill into town for an evening meal and in the morning went for a stroll along the beach. A truely relaxing stay

This was a real find. David and Rachel are first class hosts. The room we had was large, more like a mini suite, and spotless. Breakfast, cooked by David to order, was excellent, quickly served by Rachel, and was a great start to the day. The Swallows has a very good location, only 3 mins walk from the promenade. We...

The Swallows was a great find, as I was booking accommodation for my recently completed SW Coast Path walk, and would certainly stay there again if I was in the area. It was very quiet, which is extremely important for a good nights sleep, and the room was lovely and clean which made getting out of bed difficult the next...

This is a great place to stay in Exmouth. Rachel and David are great hosts, very friendly. The room was very clean and was serviced by them each day of our stay. A welcome touch was the provision of bottled water each day. The guest house is in a great position, being 3minutes walk to the seafront and just ten...

The location to the seafront was very good 3 or 4 minutes walk. The accomodation was very clean and fresh looking and although the room was not large it was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and toilitries provided in the bathroom. The dining room was bright and airy and the breakfasts were very good with a good choice...
