We have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years and it never fails to be a comfortable and friendly event. The food was good pub grub and plenty of it. The team were efficient and friendly. We had 2 very good days walking despite the weather and it is great to return to a steaming hot bath... More

Very friendly and welcoming with good food. Sadly due to awful weather we could only stay one night there was no problem all the staff were very understanding. I was travelling with my 3 dogs and they were welcomed too. Bathroom was sparklingly clean and room was spotless. Very, very good will try and be back when the spring comes!

Just had a wonderful two night stay at the Exmoor Forest Inn. Room was very comfortable, owners were very helpful and welcoming and the food is amazing! If you are a fan of home-made pies - do try the Steak and Ale Pie - truly fantastic - as was all the food to be honest. Great breakfast to set you... More

We have visited the Exmoor Forest Inn a couple of times in the past and always had a delicious meal here. This year we made a point of staying here for a couple of nights. We had a wonderful time with our two children and two dogs. We received a friendly welcome. The two rooms we booked were clean and... More

Welcoming and well situated B&B with an excellent english full breakfast. Professional and flexible staff. We had a very tasteful buffé with local visiters. The surroundings with nice paths is perfect for hiking. We will come back!

A very comfortable hotel. A lovely room with a very good bed. The view from the window looking up to the Moor was amazing. Good food and plentiful. The hosts were very welcoming and the staff friendly.

Have stayed on numerous occasions and as always a most enjoyable visit, food is great staff friendly and good to see the new outside decor! A fantastic location for walking the beautiful Barle Valley, we were lucky to see and hear stags, ponies, many different birds of prey and stunning open vistas of beautiful remote moorland. The Doone Valley and... More

If anywhere has got it right in making their guests feel welcome, Exmoor Forest Inn is it! We were welcomed with a tray of refreshing tea in the comfy lounge. The inn has a nice relaxing ambience, and whilst the food is 'pub' food, it was good pub food. Good selection of wines and beers. Our room was lovely and... More

My friend and I stayed at the cottage for 3 nights last week with our two dogs. The rooms were decorated and furnished to a high standard and the heating made it very cosy. There was ample space and the dogs, as well as us,were made welcome in the hotel, where we went each evening for our evening meal. There... More
