Me and my boyfriend received a gift night of a stay around Dartmoor, after searching for months for somewhere that would be able to accommodate us on late notice for the rare days off that we both had together we found the Tor Royal. I called up and booked that night, we arrived a few days later and we were...

We stayed at Tor Royal Farm for three nights, one in calm weather, the other two in Storm Doris - so quite windy and wet. The rooms were very spacious, warm, quiet and had a great shower. There is tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh milk in a flask. There was a television with built in dvd player in the room,...

I came here with my sister to relive childhood memories. Tor Royal is a lovely B &B; clean, friendly and fab views. The lady owner is very friendly and welcoming, with nothing being too much trouble. The room was very comfortable, spacious and the added little touches like proper milk for tea, biscuits and tissues were much appreciated. Would definitely go...

I came here on Valentine's Day with my fiancé for an afternoon tea! It was a valentines special one and it did not disappoint! When we first arrived I was a bit sceptical as we had only ever been for afternoon teas in London so was used to grand hotels, so when we turned up and it was a farm...

My partner and I were driving through Dartmoor Nationalpark, got hungry, saw a sign for the Tor Royal afternoon tea and decided to give a try. That was one of the best decisions we made on this road trip! Tor Royal is such a magical place, we loved it. We were greeted by two lovely women that gave us a...

Lovely setting nestled in the heart of dartmoor, very welcoming host, house full of character and charm. VERY warm and snug. Excellent fried breakfast. Easy access to lots of moorland walks, very nice pub just down the road with great food...The Plume of feathers. Would recommend.

Visited for afternoon tea with family. Reasonably priced, friendly and accommodating service and delicious scones! We were welcomed by a peacock perching on the scaffolding outside the entrance (moved to the roof by the time I could snap it!) and kept company inside by the resident cat who was very pleasant! If there had been a couple more jams to...

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights while vacationing on the moors. We had a King Size bed in a spacious en-suite room which was clean, neat, and very relaxing. Breakfast was filling with the normal selections of full English breakfast and other meals. Oddly one of my favorite things was one of the cats named Bruce which...

This beautiful House is just soaked in History and is truly something very special, we didn't feel like we were in a B&B we felt like we were at home. On arrival we were given a very warm and friendly welcome by the owner (I forget her name)whilst we were led to our room we were just amazed by how...

Visited on Saturday and it was their last day for the season. Well worth the £14 each we paid. Everything was home cooked. Scones were still warm. Location was lovely as we saw sheep and peacocks. The farmhouse still had originally features to it. Would visit again.
