This Travelodge is situated on the A30 and is ideal for visiting Dartmoor and the surrounding areas. There is a place for meals onsite and a superb pub with delicious food is just five minutes walk away.

The Whiddon Down Travelodge is a useful place fr a stopover when leaving Cornwall late in the evening for destinations further up country. The Hog & Hedge restaurant next door does an excellent breakfast to start the next day. We've stayed here before and will do again, no doubt.

The surrounding area is beautiful but the site of the travelodge is on a service area adjacent (but set back from) a busy trunk road. So there are not good views when you look out if the window from your room, but if you drive a few mins there are.

Is there somewhere to get a cooked breakfast near hotel
Hi There, Yes all Travelodge's do accept dogs (And other pets). They are a £20 charge for the entire stay. If you would like a ground floor room also, call them at any time and they will be happy to assist and allocate a room ready for your arrival.
