An unplanned stop off whilst cycling along the old A30. Although it is right on the new A30 it is out of the way don a tiny lane. It was very quiet for a summer Sunday but all was good. An excellent choice of food. Well prepared and hearty. Friendly service. We sat outside with the bikes and the noise... More

Stayed for 5 nights, working locally. Accommodation is clean and simple. Breakfast is very good with excellent sausage and bacon, evening meals also good with nice selection of veg. Pub itself is very dated, but clean and friendly. No wifi needs to be addressed as most professional guests and families expect free wifi. Overall pleased with my stay.

Called in for a meal on our way home from visiting family. Chicken and asparagus pie with fresh veg and chips, really good. Had ginger pudding with stem ginger sauce and hot custard, absolutely wonderful. All very good food and good value. Thank you

I came up to the Prewley after a friend recommended it after having lunch there a week or so before hand, so I had to go and check it out. M&B Mild, oh yeah please, the only place in the area that serves it! I ordered the Gammon with Egg & Pineapple and the wife had Chicken in a basket... More

You can only use cash here not a card. No atmosphere in fact, no people! Hardly surprising with a limited menu available at limited times. Had a roast dinner here 2 months ago. Obviously plated up several hours before and very unsuccessfully reheated using a microwave. The meal wasn't even hot when served. To add insult to injury under the... More
