This is without doubt one of the best B&Bs' we have stayed in, the owners are so friendly and helpful the accommodation is first class, everything about this property is genuinely superb. If you want to stay in this area you would find it difficult to stay anywhere better.

The minute we walked into Parford Well, Tim was there with a smile and welcome, creating an instant connection. There was my husband and I and our daughter and her husband. He showed us to our serene and restful rooms, then invited us into the sitting room for tea and Christmas cake. I'm afraid I was tempted to stay there...

A very warm welcome from Tim the owner. Very well appointed rooms decorated with antiques and original paintings. Plenty of storage, immaculately clean, tea and coffee tray in the room. Perfect breakfast and high quality. Tim is happy to recommend places to visit. Ideal location to visit Castle Drogo, or dine at Gidleigh Park, walking on Dartmoor or exploring this...

This is probably one of the best b&b I have ever stayed at. Not only the place is clean, tidy and immaculate but the deco is very interesting. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and Tim proved to be the perfect host. We spent two days just after Christmas. We sat in the living room by the...

What can I say? A bed and breakfast at its best. Tim greeted us with a delicious cup of tea and cupcakes after our trek from Cambridge, sized us up pretty quickly as hiking fans rather than coach tourists and went the extra mile to see to it that we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Tim described the walk...

This is a beautiful place to stay, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Tim, the owner could not do enough for us and made us especially welcome; the breakfast was almost more than I could eat! The sitting room was a great bonus to relax in at the end of a day walking and there's a country pub just a quick...

Excellent B&B on the edge of Dartmoor park - not far from Drogo Castle. It is not very far from the outstanding restaurant Gidleigh Park. Run very hospitably by Tim, who makes sure everything is comfortable and to your liking. Very helpful, also to get a taxi from the local company (friendly and good drivers!). Also: the house is beautiful,...

Padford Well B&B was our fourth and best stay at a B&B in England this past week. It was apparent that every thing was chosen with care, from the tastefully decorated interior, comfortable bedroom, beautiful garden, delicious jams served for breakfast. Tim, our gracious host, gave us excellent advice on restaurants in Chagford, and what scenic walking paths to take....

Tim is a superb host. Parford Well felt like our own home. It was scrupulously clean with a comfortable sitting room. There was an excellent choice of tasty breakfasts. There is a lovely garden where guests may sit in fine weather. The quiet location is an ideal base from which to explore the Dartmoor national park. Evening meals can be...

My wife and I have regularly returned to Parford Well over the last few years – most recently 24th to 29th May 2015. Tim Daniel is an excellent host, providing well prepared breakfasts to order and offering help and advice with any daily plans or bookings. He also greets guests with tea and cake (often homemade) in the afternoon. The...
