The only downside is the service is a little slow and waiters don't want to catch your eye and often not doing very much. Would have appreciated a more slick service and then would...

Overnight stay including dinner bed and breakfast, just one word excellent. Great service, beers in the bar were good, atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed with a mixture of local patrons and visitors and food was very good we will certainly be back.

We were made extremely welcome even though our room wasn't ready, we settled ourselves near an open fire with Sloe Royals and Seafood Platter, both were excellent. We were able...

We spent 2 nights with a dinner bed and breakfast package and I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom modern. Our meals were amazing on both nights, but it was the staff that really made our stay unforgettable. Everyone was so cheerful, friendly and efficient, going...

Sat at the fireplace and had lovely homemade choices for lunch soup and haddock pate it was delicious. It has such character that draws you in and although the service is at a high standard it...
