Everything about thr room was ok, although, like many other establishments, there was nowhere to put your bits and pieces when actually in the shower. The room was adequate, but not very good value at £165 per night for bandb. Unlit car park not very welcoming if used after dark.

Is there disabled access in the hotel?
HI We have a junior suite with ramp access and a wet room shower room suitable for disabled guests with an able bodied helper. The hotel internally has 3 steps from the public areas to the bathrooms so the best option is to call us to discuss before making a reservation

are you within walking distance of any good pubs?
You are about a 5 minute walk from a pub. Think its called The Sandy Park Inn. We had a great time there as my sister had her wedding at The Mill End and we escaped for a couple of hours. Good range of real ales. Staff were very pleasant. Food looked good when it came out. It's a 5 minute walk from the hotel but no pavement. Normally its quite a quiet road. No street lighting either.

Are children welcome
Thank you for your enquiry. Yes, children are very welcome at Mill End! There is plenty for everyone to see, enjoy and do here in the glorious Dartmoor National Park. We don't have a children's menu in the restaurant, but your little one(s) can always enjoy just one or two courses from our main menu (or a light savoury supper which can be served for children at 6pm if that's better for you). We have a Family Room, which has a double bed, a single bed, and space for an extra fold-out bed if required. We also have several other rooms which can accommodate a fold-out bed. Please don't hesitate to call us on 01647-432282 if we can be of assistance. I do hope that you'll visit us at Mill End - you'll be very welcome! Kind regards Mike Coombes Managing Director Mill End Hotel
