We have just got home after two nights at The Mill End Hotel with our two dogs, Jess and Rosie. We had a room in the annexe, with a lovely view over the lawns towards the River Teign. Breakfast was wonderful on both mornings, which we ate in the 'Little Lounge', where the dogs

Lovely setting, service & property. The living room furnishings are rather disappointingly uninspired. We Visited as part of a circular walk from Fingles Bridge, left our boots in the boot room round the back & took the dog with us into the lounge. We had tea and a glass of

Thank you for your enquiry. Most of our rooms have baths (but not all) and we do not have a pool here.

You are about a 5 minute walk from a pub. Think its called The Sandy Park Inn. We had a great time there as my sister had her wedding at The Mill End and we escaped for a couple of hours. Good range of real ales. Staff were very pleasant. Food looked good when it came out. It's a 5 minute walk from the hotel but no pavement. Normally its quite a quiet road. No street lighting either.

Are children welcome
Thank you for your enquiry. Yes, children are very welcome at Mill End! There is plenty for everyone to see, enjoy and do here in the glorious Dartmoor National Park. We don't have a children's menu in the restaurant, but your little one(s) can always enjoy just one or two courses from our main menu (or a light savoury supper which can be served for children at 6pm if that's better for you). We have a Family Room, which has a double bed, a single bed, and space for an extra fold-out bed if required. We also have several other rooms which can accommodate a fold-out bed. Please don't hesitate to call us on 01647-432282 if we can be of assistance. I do hope that you'll visit us at Mill End - you'll be very welcome! Kind regards Mike Coombes Managing Director Mill End Hotel
