We are a traditional pub and b&b. We are situated in the very centre of beautiful Buckfastleigh, with easy access to the A38, the coast, and Dartmoor. We are dog friendly in our public bar but not in our rooms. Our rooms are furnished with duck feather and down luxury duvets & pillows, memory foam mattresses and fluffy white towels. We are open to the public for food and refreshments everyday, please check with staff for seasonal variances. You can dine in our public bar or in our comfortable dining room by one of our roaring open fires. In the summer months we have a sun-trap courtyard garden for you to enjoy! We very much look forward to welcoming you to Dan's Place!

reasonable price, friendly service, with a nice room. Not great, but fine for the price. a good cooked breakfast. My only complaint would be that the pub is overheated, especially the room. Also, only having 1 pillow each seems a bit mean.

Dear frank806, Many thanks for taking the time to feedback to us regarding your stay. It's unusual for us to be told that the rooms are over-heated, we get occasional feedback that sometimes the rooms aren't warm enough - usually just as we're coming out of the summer season. We can provide fans and of course the radiators can be turned down/off per room. I was also surprised to hear you only had one pillow. There are usually spare pillows in the drawer or bottom of the wardrobe, so I'll take this up with the team there. Thank you very much for your feedback, we hope to see you again. Best wishes, All at The Globe Inn.

We stopped here on route to somewhere else rather than using a service station. There wasn’t a lot of choice in the town so I didn’t haven high expections, however I was very very pleasantly please. Good quality home cooked pub food and great prices! I can’t remember the last

A lovely BnB in the heart of town. With a well stocked bar and an excellent breakfast. Very clean and tidy and everyone was very freindly, will definitely recommend. The one way system was a bit confusing at first but there is plenty of parking nearby so the location is perfect

Its a steady walk upon through the town... I'd say 15 minutes walk or 2-3 mins in the car. I hope that helps.
