Four of us stayed for a weekend break. Comfortable rooms and the food in the restaurant was really good with a wide selection. Staff throughout were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. For a weekend break a real gem.

We needed a coffee and stopped at Dartmoor Lodge with fairly low expectations. It turned out to be a real find, very comfortable, very friendly, 4 local real ales, We'll be making the same trip several times and will stop there every time.

Denbury is just over 9 miles from the Dartmoor Lodge Hotel, about half of which will be on narrow country lanes. It should take about 20 minutes, but here in Devon you always have to account for the tractor factor... More

The Dartmoor Lodge does have a dog friendly policy and they are welcome in certain allocated rooms by prior arrangement. We are just off the A38, with a five minute drive onto the moor.
