Just returned from Churston after a short stay with my 2 grandsons. We were made extremely welcome and offered a more spacious room than the one we had already booked, with a view over playing fields and the railway. 2 young lads were overjoyed with their twin room and especially loved the superb and unhurried breakfast, whilst also enjoying the...

What a gem. I was allowed to stay despite the owners closing to do a very good redecoration. The hosts Rob and Sandra were very welcoming and accommodating. My room was very clean throughout, warm and quiet. The breakfast was exceptional. Fresh fruit, and I mean proper fresh fruit (no expense spared), choice of cereal and a very high standard...

Rob and Sandra were fantastic and kept a smile on our faces every time we saw them. They were very responsive to our needs and knowledgeable about the area with some great recommendations of places to visit and eat. The house was lovely and clean and rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent every morning. Great location by steam railway station.

Despite other recent reviews I found this to be an excellent guest house. Decor is a touch old fashioned but bedroom was great and en suite bathroom was great. Hosts were lovely, provided for gluten and lactose intolerances and breakfast was spot on. A little difficult to find initially but owners were very helpful when I called for directions. If...

Was here for a few nights. This is an old fashioned guest house, and not what you would expect from a hotel. The location is lovely if you like steam trains, but it is in the middle of nowhere, and difficult to find - even the locals don't know the place exists! Breakfast was ok, but the room was very...

I received a call from this establishment asking what time I would be checking in after I had checked into another hotel elsewhere. I advised that there had obviously been some confusion as I was staying elsewhere and therefore would not be checking in. I was informed that regardless of the confusion they had received an email confirmation from Booking.com...

I booked this B & B through booking.com as it had good reviews. On arrival we were greeted by the owner and shown to to our rooms which were very pleasant and clean, both our rooms were on the side which over looked the quaint Churton Station, it was an obsolute delight to see the steam train go past. The...

Needing a room to stay overnight near to Dartmouth I booked this place. It's a charming and well appointed B & B close to both Brixham and Dartmouth. Sandra and Robert were very warm and friendly with plenty of advice on what to see and potential places to eat. I will be returning to Dartmouth in December and will definetly...
