This was our fourth Valentine's weekend dinner dance visit to this lovely hotel. We are never disappointed and this was no exception. It is reassuring to see the same friendly, familiar faces each time we return. The staff are clearly loyal and committed to this wonderful place. They cannot do enough to ensure guests are comfortable and have all that...

Stayed at the Berry Head Hotel 9th & 10th February 2017. We loved it, We have been coming to the Berry Head for years to enjoy the view and have an evening meal out on the patio overlooking the sea to Torquay. I always wanted to stay here and eventually did this week, and I wasn't disappointed. The overriding experience...

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location!! There are various dining areas and where we were the room was laid with round tables which makes it easier for all to talk. Service was very good and well organised. The Carvery was very good with a nice selection of vegetables and the pork was delicous, I had a starter of smoked duck...

Enjoyed fabulous lunch - The Gish Pie was so tasty I wanted to lick the bowl! .....accompanied by tastiest side of greens I've ever had, with bread also very filling. My husband loved his crab sandwich too - all in newly refurbished fabulous bistro with stunning views, thoroughly enjoyed it.

A few months ago we decided that for a very special birthday it would be perfect to try to get our family altogether in our very favourite hotel. We know how much we love staying at the Berry head Hotel, but with family ages ranging from. 18 onwards we hoped that they would be as enthralled as we are! Every...

Terrible service was in there half and hour before I decided to go ahead and ask someone to serve me! Starter came was so disappointed wasn't anything like it was decided on the menu. Plates were never cleared and we wasn't even asked if we'd like a desert would never waste my money in there again!

Staying for the weekend. After ready some reviews was a little worried. Had no need to be. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food so far is outstanding. Still only 1 day into a 3 day stay but cannot fault a thing.

Berry Head Hotel has so much going for it. It sits in a fabulous location overlooking Tor Bay with views to Golden Cap and Portland Bill when the weather allows. The hotel was a hospital, built at the time of the Napoleonic wars and oozes character. Our room was comfortable, but there were signs of poor housekeeping - hairs in...

Our company had our Christmas Party at The Berry Head on 9th January and we hired the Mulberry Room for 84 people - The staff couldn't have done more, they were so helpful with the menus giving us a good choice including vegetarian and vegan for those that requied it, they helped with the table plans and decorated them beautifully...

Myself and my wife visited the Berry Head Hotel for a Sunday Carvery lunch. Ample parking and a fantastic location with views across Torbay weigh heavily in its favour. There appears to be various dining areas in the hotel and we were placed in the end room which was very large and a little cold. It had the atmosphere of...
