Called in to watch the football as most places had olympics on. The whole place is disgusting! They have a habitual uncouth male called Garry who's tongue was abosolutly vile....I have heard bad language as I worked with builders but this was beyond that! Who the landlady thought was wonderful and laughed everytime he opened his mouth! And said "good... More

Since the new management have taken over, Steve and Anita this pub has changed for the better. This pub has changed from a late drinker and never know what to expect public house to somewhere you can call your local. When you goto the Bolton you are well looked after and made to feel welcome. The atmosphere has changed dramatically... More

Only went in for a drink, we were staying for a week looking for a friendly local to spend our money in. Had possibly the worst and friendliness welcome I've ever into a pub! My dad asked if there were any real ales on draft and was greeted with a roll of the eyes and total negativity! When these places... More

Popped in for a quick drink for the first time last week and don't think I'll be going back. On the plus side, the barmaid was very friendly, gave my dog a bowl of water and a treat. But... The bar was very bland and had a funny smell about it and my wife's glass was filthy. For a country... More

The date was Sunday 4th May, a bank holiday, and in Brixham a Pirate Bank Holiday. I was drunk - but not in-coherent. (The fact I remember this so vividly proves just how shocked I was at our treatment. Walking into the pub, I received a phone call to which I had to answer. After finishing the phone call, I...
