We have stayed here for 8 pirate weekends, the owners could not do enough for us from the warm welcome to the breakfast choices, the new owners have spent many hours updating the rooms to a very high standard, we have already booked for next year because we think when word gets out at how great this bed and breakfast...

Wonderfully attentive hosts. Rooms are beautiful and in the perfect location. A must stay venue for anyone visiting Brixham. My friend had the breakfast each day and claimed they were amazing. Clean. Beautifully presented and a definite return.

As this was our first visit to Brixham, we used 'Booking.com' - which all worked very smoothly. On arrival, after driving from Hampshire, we were warmly welcomed by the 'Joint Proprietors' and immediately offered 'a cuppa' (in our experience and somewhat to our surprise, this gesture doesn't happen very often at all ! ). Throughout our brief one-night stay, our...

Our second stay within six months, this time we chose a room with a bath, superb. Standards of food and much improved decor were down to the hard work of Matt and Steve. Nice to catch up with all the exploits since our last visit.we wish you all the best for a busy second season, quality always shines through !...

As promised we had a lovely warm welcome it was more like visiting friends than staying in a guest house. Steve and Matt have recently been redecorating and they have done this in keeping with the period of the property. It was lovely to meet people who have genuine interest and care in all they do and that truly shows...

Immaculate accommodation with luxury bedding and towels.Breakfast was fresh and made to order. When we arrived back early evening Steve lit the coal fire and we were able to sit and relax and chat. All six of us would recommend this guest house.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The old home of TV's William Tell - Conrad Philips, Redlands is now an award winning family run B&B which is clean, comfortable, friendly, and relaxed with free on-site parking. All rooms are en-suite and include hearty English breakfast,(our renowned) kippers, or lighter breakfasts served after a good night's sleep on our pocket sprung mattress. Redlands is a Victorian house, originally built around 1900 for a Brigantine Captain and has been modernised and restored with all the modern comforts, yet still retaining its character and old charm. We are situated just a short 10-minute walk away from the bustle of the picturesque harbour with its excellent restaurants. ... more   less
