We love the self catering accommodation at Long Cottage (though we miss Karine's splendid breakfasts!) The two double bedrooms are peaceful, comfortable and well appointed, and there is a large living room with TV, wifi, books and games for a wet day, though we did not need them this time. We've stayed here a number of times and always been very well looked after. The beds are super comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. Simon and Karine are very welcoming and friendly. They even have a dog called Elvis.

This is now a self catering cottage, and is perfect in every way. Located in a quiet tranquil spot, but only a few miles from some great pubs, and a short drive from Croyde Bay and Baggy Point. Our second stay at this comfortable, well appointed and welcoming venue. We enjoyed it even more knowing what to expect. Surfing, cliff walks, plenty of places to visit, rounded off by a day trip to Lundy Island gave us a refreshing and memorable holiday. Many thanks. Helen.

We were so pleased with our first stay at Long Cottage - beautifully and peacefully secluded but within easy reach of many lovely beaches, cliff walks and good eating places. It's tucked away amongst the farmland of North Devon. But that is part of its beauty. A gem of a cottage with a garden that clearly gets some attention. We stayed at Long Cottage for 5 nights in May, and were very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the place. We opted not to stay B&B, just rented the cottage. We found Long Cottage on Trip Advisor last year and, seeing the great reviews, took the plunge and booked for the first week of the school’s summer holiday 2012. The accommodation surpassed our high expectations. The cottage is spacious and extremely well finished. My girlfriend and I just returned from our second weekend at Long Cottage in as many weeks which probably says it all.
