Detailed Reviews
I stayed at this hostel for 5 nights on a large music trip and it was perfect. Place was clean and tidy yet no bins in female toilets so they provided us with strange doggy bags instead. Food excellent especially if you have dietary requirements my friends is coeliac and had no issues at all. They made her included and didn’t single her out at all. Owner a bit moody but we were loud to be fair and it was late. Bedroom bins emptied daily. Beautiful setting surrounded by fields so loads of space to run around and play football or games. Apparently there was a zip wire? The staff were so friendly and welcoming in the food area and I would 100% recommend to a big group staying. There were 50 kids and all staff had own rooms with en suites. Free Wi-Fi in wifi lounge and very comfy sofas. Cannot fault the place.

In May 2022, I spent a week at JAAC solo in my campervan. Because camping charges are per person, this was a tremendous deal! The grass pitches are marked out and very spacious. The site slopes slightly, but not so much that it becomes a bother. Access by road to the site is good and there's a walkway close by down to Gorey pier where you will find cafes, restaurants, the magnificent Gorey Castle, and the frequent bus service into St Helier and other destinations. The shower and toilet block is modern and very clean. The showers are particularly good. The welcome I received was warm and friendly and I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this site.

A total and rare beauty in Jersey. We areJersey residents and having substantial work done on our house. We have the added problem of having a dog and very few places accept dogs in Jersey.
That’s how we found JAAC and we are so pleased we did. The grounds are totally amazing for a dog who totally loves it & there are agility classes for loads of dogs each week. The real beauty are the staff, particularly Ina and Bella who treat everyone with so much care and attention you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
Whilst the accommodation is basic, it is very comfortable and more importantly always pristine clean. I have never stayed in a hostel before but I expected to share a bathroom with multiple other people but alas no, you get your own bathroom with most dorms and there are plenty of en suite bedrooms.
I never expected this at all but in Jersey this is a totally rare find and you should definitely snap it up.

The hostel cancelled my booking less than 24 hours before I was due to stay there without a legitimate reason. There was a complete lack of communication, they failed to help me source alternative accommodation and were incredibly rude to me over the phone. I do not recommend to anyone travelling to Jersey in case your booking is cancelled last minute.

Unfortunately you have written an untruthful account of the events leading up to our refusal to accept your booking, which was done three days before your arrival due to your reluctance to accept our terms and conditions. Your booking was cancelled as you refused to pay for your accommodation and the threat you put our business under trying to use our centre as an isolation venue for Covid after attending a music festival. I think you will find that both of these reasons are legitimate.

Beautiful views, just a short walk from Gorey, and serving amazing food. Bella and her team are conscientious hosts who will go out of their way to accommodate a guest's needs. My dogs and I always feel welcome.

We were looked after really well, they had really nice food, lovely staff and loads of board games, films and outdoor sports stuff to use. They were very accommodating, when we needed cardboard for a school project the staff helped to collect it for us! Would visit again.

We spent a week here and we enjoyed the hostel. It is located in a nice place and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is nice. There is a Games Room where you can enjoy yourself and outside there is plenty of space too. A very good opportunity to stay here if you want to visit the island with your family.

We stayed here as part of a school trip to Jersey with 40 students and it was perfect. The rooms were ideal for a group trip with staff getting their own rooms with en suite. The best thing was the hospitality of the staff. They were so welcoming and helpful. The food provided was also excellent. Would 100% recommend for any group trips.

Very friendly and helpful staff we stayed over for one night had the place almost all to ourselves due to covid. Rooms were clean and tidy showers hot just what we needed after cycling all day. Bella's cafe next door makes the best breakfast we've had in ages definitely worth a visit. John runs an adventure experience unfortunately we weren't able to book anything due to tide times and only being a couple but would recommend having a look at what is on offer loads to do.
