We took a trip over to Gorey Bay as I wanted to check out the fish restaurants, my wife loves her fish and had been hankering for a blow out all the time we were there. In any case Gorey is a pretty little place to visit, with a few shops, lots of restaurants and a castle sitting on top... More

Firstly, this place is lovely as are the staff. I had a great three night stay here. All very nice and comfortable. However, if you are considering places to stay while conducting business this is not the right hotel. So, constructive comments : The WiFi is very (shockingly) poor. I couldn't even access email never mind anything else. Even in... More

Only went there for a drink on our visit to Jersey. Large long bar not too comfortable. Barman not very friendly. Reasonable selection of drinks and they did sell Black Country scratchings. Benches outside giving a view of the Castle.

We had lunch in the restaurant after visiting the castle, the Cannelloni I had was excellent, one of the best I've tasted for a while, and the fish my wife had was perfect too, the service was top rate too everyone was helpful and friendly, and I actually had the pleasure of meeting my long lost twin brother (see photo)

We watched Wales win against Northern Ireland in the Dolphin! Great night then and went back for few more nights there too. Had lovely food and drinks - thanks to Avelino. Good music and karaoke. Enjoyed the charity football match - good luck for next year! Very good atmosphere. Regards from the Welsh friends of Martin x

Went here for lunch. Ambience OK. Large varied menu attracted us. Scampi and fish were fresh out of the freezer - chips were probably left over from yesterday - dry and hard - could have been used as road chippings - staff appeared to be having a bad day - when we complained the waiter didn't understand and thanked us... We had a week in early June. A little out of St Helier, but all the better for that! Parking is very much of a premium everywhere - so used the excellent busses!! Dolphin is a small hotel that is always busy with tourist and locals enjoying company, food and drink in the sunshine for most of the day! Rated... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. When we were first given our room at the back of the hotel we felt a little cheated; however, due to noise levels at the front we came to realise it was a blessing. This hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are polite and well-organised. Breakfast was superb, and I have to admit... More

We arrived to see the castle that stands on the hill above this harbour. Around the harbour are several hotels with great views, however when we visited all the others seemed to be closed because it was Monday. The hotel restaurant was also shut but there dining room/ bar was open, great seating outside looking over the harbour. We sat... More
