Great 7 night stay. We had a good, plenty large enough twin room on the ground floor so it was quick to get in and out of the hotel. Toiletries were provided, towels were a nice size, shower was excellent and tea and coffee was provided, replenished daily. The room, like the rest of the hotel, was very clean throughout....

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful review. We are pleased that you enjoyed a great seven night stay and that you felt our hotel to be very clean and with an excellent dining room. Regarding our location, it is not easy to find a hotel in the centre of the town or on the seafront with such large parking...

We spend 4 nights at the hotel and quickly found out the problems with the building - the floors are squeaky and you can hear the guests walking around and talking in room above. On our first night to make the problem worse the guests in the room above created a lot of noise when arriving back after midnight and...

No lift. In need of an uplift, old carpets squeaky stairs etc. Single room size was as expected but no air conditioning so difficult to sleep when its 20c degrees outside. Central enough to St Helier but was expecting more from the photographs on the website.

Thank you for your comments on our hotel and on your single bedroom. We are a more traditional hotel on a large site with good public amenities. Single bedrooms are smaller than double bedrooms but comply with a minimum area standard under Jersey law. Contrary to your comment, there in indeed an OTIS passenger lift in the main hotel accommodation...

45 mins from Southend Airport to St Helier Airport. Good place to visit if you're into history. Took a taxi to hotel, cost £15. Currency both English sterling and C.I. currency. Walked for miles but thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff at Norfolk Lodge were very helpful and you could have a joke with most of them. Has it's own indoor pool,...

Thank you for your wonderful comments about our Norfolk Lodge Hotel and Jersey as a resort. These comments are thoughtful and appreciated. Your check-in timing: We do need time to 'turn bedrooms around' from departing guests, made-up to the correct standard, ready for newly arriving guests. However, it is always useful to communicate with our reception team in order that...

Very bad quality mattress, staff wasn't really friendly, very noisy restaurant, food quality could definitely be better for a 3* establishment, rooms not soundproof at all, price of drinks worthy of a posh parisian hotel but for lesser quality products... I won't go back there, ever Only real good point is the parking lot right in front of the hotel.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy either of the hotels visited on your Channel Island visit for similar reasons. We review and replace mattresses each year to maintain standards. Our catering is well regarded by the AA for our grade of hotel. We offer an all day menu and cook from fresh using quality ingredients for each evening...

The hotel is fine for a base, a little old fashioned but the staff are very welcoming, and helpful. We were meeting up with family that live on the Island so didn't really take advantage of the facilities on offer, but we would stay again.
